WRITER'S
GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLES
In order for us to consider article submissions the following criteria is required:
• Name, address, phone number, website, article title and word count must be at the beginning of the article.
• Subject Line: Submission of Article
• All articles must have a title. We prefer short titles over long ones
• Types of articles considered: inspirational, informational, humorous, alternative health, how-to articles, spiritual articles, human interest
• 200-850 words as a Word doc or pasted into email
• 1500-2300 words (Feature article) as a Word doc or pasted into email
• Any graphics sent must be 300dpi jpegs - No smaller than 3" x 3",

Notes:
In Light Times does not pay for article submissions.
Compensation:
Articles accepted for publication are also printed online. Hardcopy
includes short profile/bio with contact info. Online includes same
profile/bio with active link' plus free Online Quick Reference Guide
(QRG) with hyperlink to website (value $300)
We do not accept Word Perfect nor PDF files.
We have the right to edit and or refuse any material submitted.
We do not accept submissions via US Mail.

BOOK & MUSIC REVIEW CRITERIA
To consider your book review or CD, please submit accordingly:
• Must include name, mailing address and phone number for contact. Please include website if appropriate
• Subject Line: Book, Book Review, Review or CD
• Press Release/information on book or CD plus a 175-200 word review as a Word doc or pasted into email
• A 300dpi jpeg or PDF graphic of the book cover or CD cover

CRITERIA
• Must include name, mailing address and phone number for contact. Please include website if appropriate
• 200 word max as a Word doc (no Word Perfect or PDF) or pasted into email
• Put your first initial (or name) with last initial followed by city, state or country
• No advertorials (advertisements) or promotions allowed.
• Type of letters: questions, opinions, and responses

Pet and animal related articles that are informative, inspirational, educational, humorous, newsworthy, natural/holistic recipes, natural / alternative healing and healing methods, interesting unusual facts etc
250 - 1000 words
Must have Title, Byline,
and a 50 word maximum authors biography with website
Photos:
Unusual, funny, heartwarming etc.
All Submissions must be spell
checked, grammar and punctuation checked. Word count noted at beginning of article

links to article on your website.
