LETTERS
TO THE EDITOR

Dear
ILT,
Enjoyed April issue. It is unusual to want to read all the articles and
I do have some questions regarding The New Kids by Cinnamon Crow. First, who
came up with the names, labels for the Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children?
What led to the categorizing of these types? What makes that person an expert in
this arena?
Secondly, it was stated that due to hopelessness, some of
these kids turned to drugs and violence. How can one “listen, encourage and
teach” these souls when they appear not reachable? What is the key to getting
past or through the drug-induced haze, assuming one can get close enough to them
in the first place?
Mary R. Chicago, IL
Dear Mary,
You
asked some wonderful questions. The Indigo Children were the first named New
Children based on a book published in the early 1980’s by Nancy Ann Tappe. The
label Indigo, Crystal or Rainbow is used because of a characteristic, dominate
color in their aura. There are many books available by well known authors such
as Lee Carroll and Doreen Virtue if you would like to research these children
for yourself.
If we all look at the young adults and children in our
lives, there is bound to be at least one ‘New Child’ with which we interact.
There are so many incarnated at this time that we all must know (or be) one.
That child or young adult is where we should start. We start in our own homes
and work outward. Two of the metaphysical bookstores in my hometown offer Indigo
and Crystal classes that teach these children how to use their gifts. Another
store offers a support group for parents and children. If there is something
like that where you live, volunteer to help. If not, start a group.
It is
not too late for the ones who seem unreachable. I am an Indigo Child. I fell
into the haze of drug addiction for many years and nearly died. Part of my
life’s purpose is to bring awareness to the plight of some of the Indigos. I am
also in a position to reach out to many who suffer from addiction due to my own
personal experiences. I have worked with many now recovered Indigo and Crystal
Child addicts in my home town and I continue to work with those still addicted.
These recovered Indigo and Crystal Kids look for and find others to work with. I
know this is occurring in other parts of the country as well. It is only a
beginning. We all must do what we can.

Dear Eugenia,
What a wonderful edition to the In Light Times. I
was so excited to read about the pets and their heartwarming stories. Tell me,
what is your opinion on those who say they can communicate with animals? I do
have my doubts…what do you think about “talking with the animals”. Is it real or
just one’s imagination? What is the basis and is there any scientific findings?
Annabelle Z. Twin Falls, ID
Dear Annabelle,
Thank you for
your inquiry. I truly have not had any association with animal communicators, so
it is not an area that I can honestly comment about. It is a great question
though and would love to put your question out to our readers. Has anyone had
any experiences with animal communicators or would someone that does talk with
animals explain more to us? Thank you again and keep the questions coming in.
