Trust or Not To Trust
By Cheri Hickman
This is a big thing for me! I keep telling myself to trust myself and others,
then I start worrying about the silliest things. I know how the Universe works
and when we worry it just keeps what we worry about in the picture.
You might think you are having positive affirmations, but if you are spending
more time thinking about the money you don’t have to pay the bills or the health
that you want or that great relationship, then you are attracting more of what
you don’t have.
The key is to trust that it is already available for you. It really is just
waiting for you to allow it in. Abraham Hicks likes to state that you are only
17 seconds away from 68 seconds of having whatever you desire. In other words,
if you can focus on what you desire for 68 seconds then it has to be, it is LAW!
Take for example: “I am so grateful that I have a beautiful relationship with
the people in my life.” After making that statement you think and feel what it
is like to have those relationships. If you continue for 68 seconds in a
positive, high vibration, and actually feeling as though you have these
relationships, then it will be. It might not be exactly when you want it, but it
is in the making. You get to keep practicing these feelings so that your desires
make it to your presence.
Sixty-eight seconds doesn’t seem very long, but when you have a really bad
relationship with someone close to you, it can be difficult to keep from
thinking about it when you are doing the 68 second thing. The more that you
practice this, the easier it gets.
I devour myself in support to be able to get and keep myself in a higher
vibration. I constantly catch myself when I am thinking about the lack and
switch to thoughts of abundance. It is the thing that keeps me sane when there
is no money in the business to pay bills or payroll. Five years ago I used to
drive myself crazy with worry. Now I keep telling myself that it is ok. Whatever
happens, happens. It isn’t going to do me any good to worry. Matter of fact, the
more I worry, the worst it gets. I get the opportunity to really work on
trusting myself and the Universe to create whatever is the best result for me.
I have people in my life that I can call when I get stuck. I listen to my CDs
and meditate every day, several times a day. I used to think I did not have time
for this, but once I started practicing the meditation along with listening and
reading self awareness and motivational material, I found I had even more time
than if I just spent all day worrying.
Life really is much more pleasant when we stop worrying so much. Living by your
heart and in trust makes life very easy. Not saying that I do that all the time;
however, I practice being in that state as much as possible. I pick up new tools
all the time that I use to stay in a state of trust and in a high vibration. As
long as I remain a student, teachers keep appearing.
I have started helping others and sharing the tools I practice so they can have
a blessed life too. Please let me know if you can use my support.
