An Update On Michelene
Greetings,
You may have noticed a little
something different this month…an absence of Michelene’s words of
insight. For over 19 years she has been the driving force behind this
publication through thick and thin.
Michelene fell ill a couple of
months ago, however, her love and loyalty for In Light Times won out and
she kept working to be sure the Hard Copy issues came out as close as
possible to the publishing date, and the Internet issues have
unfortunately suffered.
Unfortunately, this month her
strength failed before she could complete the November issue. She landed
in the hospital for almost two weeks in ICU in very critical condition.
Happily I am able to announce she
is doing well, out of the hospital, and will be recuperating for a
while.
We ask that you put her in your prayers and send good wishes.
In the meantime you can direct any inquiries or concerns to me as I will
be taking care of things until she is able to return fully recovered.’
During this time I have found it to be such a rewarding time for me. I
found that as I worked on the remaining pages that there was an enormous
amount of gratefulness I felt. Gratefulness that Michelene founded In
Light Times 20 years ago, gratefulness for her passion, struggles and
turmoil which she has overcome to create and develop a better and better
publication, and gratefulness to be a such a large part of In Light
Times.
She is now in need of your support and I, as her partner, am asking for
that support. Giving back to her what she has given to so many of us
seems only right. Your prayers, your donations, whatever your heart
dictates will be greatly appreciated.
I will keep you posted on her progress and with her continued dedication
I know she will be on her feet soon and In Light Times will be back
bigger and better.
