What Can One Person Do?

One person can be a catalyst for destruction or for lasting peace. One person can awaken in us new possibilities, new perspectives, new dreams for life and the world.

One person can choose what they stand for, to write a personal credo for their lives.

One person can aspire to live by their credo, being self-compassionate when falling short, yet clear and vigilant about embodying the intentions. 

One person can unite people for reflecting on new World potential through Vision Circles.

One person can declare a Virtual Peace Vigil.

One person can ignite the spark of hope, vision and new possibilities in one another.

One person can express their heart’s desire for freedom for all through action, thoughts, music, art, expression and by exemplifying universal spiritual values.

One person can align with others in a community of spirit affirming the highest good for all of life, co-creating a dream of global peace.

One person can bring people together to fold cranes that symbolize harmony, longevity and peace. . .one person can pass them out to others along with a smile and a blessing.

One person can remind us to remember who we are in the greater sense;

• That we are of the same Source, sharing life together on a fragile and precious planet Earth;

• That we connect with all life as strands in the larger Web of Life;

• That we are learning what works and doesn’t to affirm the inherent value of all facets of life; 

• That freedom is the intrinsic right of everyone;

• That Truth shall prevail for All and Truth sets us free.

I choose to believe that goodness, truth and mercy are alive within each of us in spite of contrary evidence.

I choose to believe that Light will prevail over the darkness of fear, anger, greed and force.

I choose to heal the unrest and judgment within myself so I may be a catalyst for a loving world. A legacy of hope, promise and freedom is what I choose to leave for my children and grandchildren.
