Dealing With Depression
One Woman’s Journey
By Carol Ostrom
Finally, after all my words, there are people for whom using anti-depressants is the answer. The correct drugs are a Godsend for them. A few friends have gotten their lives back by first, finding the correct drug and dosage and secondly, staying on their meds. I’ve also seen people defy all odds and transform their lives via non-traditional methods. There are no magic bullets. Each person has their own journey to follow. As each of us takes responsibility for the choices we make in our own life, we not only bring to light the possibilities available, we show the way for others to heal their issues. (Remember when you rarely heard of anyone surviving cancer? Now there are many.)
As each person heals and finds harmony in their personal world, we create the foundation for peace on our planet. It only takes a single candle to shed light in the darkness. Each of us is that candle.
