This oil painting is from the upcoming series "Seasons of the Faery." The Winter Faery dances among the branches. Slowly, she falls into a deep sleep under a blanket of snow. Her sisters Spring, Summer, and Fall will carry out her work, until the snow falls again. The cycle never ending, she awakens.

Vicki is of European descent and carries a passion for ancient cultures. Her "Enchanted Old Worlds" of Fantasy, Faery, and Myth, reflect her own heritage. Her technique of layering color and weaving objects around figurative subjects, creates a metaphor of our past, when all things living, were more intertwined.

Vicki has been published in books, magazines, a calendar, and on marble and glass. She co-owns Women of the Myst Publishing and is currently seeking additional licensing venues & distributors.
