Kathryn and I have tried to design practical tools for people to use in order to open themselves to the eternal spirit within while, at the same time, they remain energetically anchored as we gradually become aware of our multi-dimensional realities. Throughout the turbulent times ahead we will endure many transformative upheavals. I personally believe the ultimate outcome of the changes we are about to face will be positive and empowering for they will serve to reveal the innate greatness we do indeed possess.

TM: According to Truth number two of the Seven Truths you state, “We choose to come here as a ‘Force of One’ in order to make changes for the betterment of all humanity, knowing that we can make a real difference.”

What about people living in third world countries suffering from starvation and disease…how are they making a real difference?

Dannion: We all go through certain cycles in life. By the mere fact that you are asking this question out of a  troubled concern for those who are sick and starving, they have already taken the first step in changing your life. And this may well be of paramount importance in their personal mission. I do not pretend to know everything. Certainly I cannot give you all the reasons why suffering exists, but I do believe it is designed in part to create within us the spiritual consciousness of compassion.

AP: In your book you write about the Four-fold Path of Power, built upon the pillars of prayer, belief, choice and love. You write that love is a supreme power capable of conquering all.

Please give me an example of how love’s great power has made itself known in your life.

Dannion: I believe that if we all strive to live in alignment with the Four-fold path we can open ourselves to physically experience the spiritual place I call, the Heavens. Quantum physics tell us the atom is the basic building block of life. The atom is 94.6% empty space, what the quantum physicists call dark matter. Within this dark matter the planets are all suspended and the universe is held together. That matter is what Luke Skywalker called, The Force. I call it Love. The love I have witnessed at the bedside of a person in transition is what has had the greatest impact on my life.

In 1997 I formed Compassion in Action/The Twilight Brigade. It is a non-profit volunteer, end-of-life organization that helps veterans make their transitions from this world to the next. We believe no one need die alone. 

I have personally accrued over 16,000 hours at the bedside, and I have held 349 people as they took their last breath. Many of the veteran’s I have died with laid in their hospital beds for months and had no one else visit them. Yet, I came to them as a stranger, with only one agenda — to say thank you and show my gratitude for their efforts to serve this nation and keep it free. 

At that moment, no matter what else these brave men and women experienced along the way, they know their life had power and purpose. Love doesn’t get more powerful than that, for at that moment, I am the difference that God makes!
