US ECONOMY

The US economy will strengthen in 2005. New home building will be at an all-time high, and real estate values throughout the country will be on the increase. The stock market will maintain a healthy upswing, especially in the areas of oil and energy; pharmaceuticals and other healthcare related industries; and companies that manufacture building materials such as steel, concrete, and plastic.

Interest rates will be on the rise, so the time to buy residential or commercial real estate is NOW!.

The US will remain in Iraq all of 2005. Fighting will continue until July/August, causing more deaths of US servicemen and women, Iraqi citizens, and international aid workers.

Military conflict will cease when insurgents are killed or flee the country. When the conflict is over, the US will continue a peacekeeping presence in Iraq. When the fighting is over, Iraq will create a democratic government that will truly benefit its people.

In addition, there will be worldwide concerns about Iran and its nuclear buildup. Iran does have nuclear weapons. Iran will fail to cooperate in terms of disclosing information about what their nuclear program entails—nor will they choose to dismantle weapons of mass destruction. In response, the US is likely to begin military operations there with troops and equipment, fearing Iran will use those weapons to start a war.

Yasser Arafat died because of an embolism. However, he was poisoned, as rumored, but by his own hand! Like Rasputin, who had so much power in the court of Czar Nicholas, Arafat feared someone was going to try to kill him with poison, so he ingested poisonous substances himself to build up a tolerance in an effort to save his life from those who wanted him dead.

MEDICAL NEWS

2005 will be a banner year for the publication of books written by holistic healers. The books will reveal startling insights into alternative methods of prevention and healing that will inspire a record number of individuals in the US to seek out holistic and homeopathic practitioners to treat injuries and ailments that have been historically handled by physicians who practice in the western style of medicine.

There will be an announcement of a new test to screen people for colon cancer which will revolutionize early detection of the disease. There will also be an unprecedented number of women surviving breast and lung cancer due to early detection, as well as the coupling of western medicine with holistic treatments. Similarly, in response to heightened media attention, there will be a growing number of Americans visiting dermatologists and/or holistic healers for the early detection, and subsequent treatment of melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer. Increasing cooperation between the practitioners in the medical and holistic communities in the US will result in new treatments that will begin to eradicate many forms of cancer. Due to this cooperative effort, there will be a significantly larger number of people surviving all different types of the disease.

The medical community will announce it has been successful in pinpointing the gene responsible for MS; and for the first time, a vaccine will be in developmental stages that will prevent the onset of the disease.

Other medical news will focus on the development of new surgical techniques that will help individuals with vertebrae and spinal cord injuries regain their mobility. In addition, new medical research conducted in 2005 will ultimately lead to the development of a synthetic skin made from plastic that will be used as grafting material for the treatment of all sorts of injuries, including serious burns. In the future, harvesting skin for grafts from the victim himself, or from cadavers, will be considered as archaic a treatment as we now consider leeches. Also in 2005, more surgeries will be conducted on pregnant mothers than ever before, successfully treating a variety of fetal developmental abnormalities that, left unchecked, would result in moderate to serious birth defects.
