“I intend to feel good” (God) was a phrase used by Dr. Wayne Dyer during his talk at the “I Can Do It” Conference from Hay House. Wayne was speaking about “intent” and connecting with Source. What made it so powerful for me was the simplicity of the message. Intent is everything for it is also focus. How do we connect fully to Source/Spirit/God without ego? How do we surrender and allow for all we desire? How do we make the shift from judgment to non-judgment? Intent and focus is how. Through his presentation and words of wisdom, I found myself reconnecting, on a soul level, with the world around me. The phrase, “I intend to feel good.” (God) remains very strong in my mind. As to connecting with Source, his simple explanation brought about an inner joy for me because it made sense and it was a process I could relate to. I find it interesting that often it is the time-honored traditions, prayers, and celebrations that help us to come back, full circle, to our beginnings. Wayne was a reminder of that fact. He had incorporated within his speech the Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi which I had not heard for quite some time. His rendition of it, and how he molded it into, “connecting with Source” brought about within me an “awe” at its simplicity. To paraphrase, “I am a channel for your love, I am a channel for your well-being, I am a channel for your abundance…” etc. Perhaps, just by using those phrases, with intent, ego is disengaged…at least that is how it feels. I would like to share with you the Peace Prayer. I hope it will touch your heart as it does mine and may our “intent” be the springboard to our connection with Spirit! To all Fathers worldwide…blessings,
may your day be filled with love and appreciation from those you
surround yourself with. Take care, The Peace Prayer of Saint Francis “O Lord, make me an instrument of Thy Peace! Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is discord, harmony. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sorrow, joy. Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.”
