Q & A’s On Regressions

Q: Can reincarnation be proven?

A. No. But neither can it be disproved. There is much research that points to the reality of people having memories from lives lived before their own.

Q. How can we have memories of other lives?

A. A soul can experience hundreds of lifetimes until it completes its’ tasks. There are three major ways a person can have memories of past lives.

1. G.M.T. = Genetic Memory Transfer. (Memories thru genetics)

2. P.I., E. = Personal Impressions, Electrical. Thoughts, actions, emotions given off by one or more persons then picked up minutes, days or years later by another person.

3. Reincarnation = body dies, soul takes a break and critiques its’ experiences, gets back into a baby at birth (with some exceptions, i.e. “walk-ins”) for another go-round.

Q. Are all regressions the same?

A. No. Most regressions are done with the subject in a state of hypnosis but can be done from a non-hypnotic state. There are basically three types of regression;

Present life: subject being regressed to different times in their present life.

Past life: subject being regressed to different lives and times their soul/higher-self/essence had in-bodied.

These two regressions are used when the subject wants information about their present lives and/or past lives.

Past life therapy: is when the subject wants specific information and details that are preventing the subject, in this life, from reaching more of their potential and being the person they could be.

Past life therapy has some wonderful healing powers. It gets to the root cause of problems created somewhere in their past and enables them to cure themselves of those phobias, psychological/emotional problems, compulsions and other mental disorders. Every so often a physical disorder is corrected.

Q. I’ve met people who told me they were so-and-so in a past life. How can two or more people, who don’t know each other, be regressed into a past life and find, they were the same person, i.e; George Washington, Marie Antoinette, Caesar, Cleopatra, Ben Franklin, etc?

A. A few possibilities to consider are:

1. There may be shared knowledge, lessons and experiences which over-shadows many souls at one time. This imprint of knowledge impresses upon the soul, a familiar sense of being incarnated or connected in some way with a historical figure.

2. A person has a small segment of another’s past life infused into their mind via P.I., E

3. A persons psychological make-up leads them to truly believe, or want to believe that they are the reincarnation of some famous historical figure. Compounded by all the movies, novels and history at our disposal that fuels their ego, thus giving them a vast amount of historical knowledge to add to their need to be important, if not in this life, in a past life.

4. Unfortunately an inexperienced hypnotist, or one who lacks integrity, may ask leading questions which can make the session invalid.

It is important to remember, the information obtained from a regression can impact one’s life. It can bring understanding in this lifetime as to our habits and phobias. It can help us heal on many levels if we allow it. Whether you were famous in past history or not the main thing to keep in mind is…you are a “spiritual being having a human experience.”
