My Dear Friends, At this time of year our hearts and minds turn to love, peace and renewal of our birthright as soul. This season celebrates the gift of life. The multitude of blessings that fill our lives. As Americans we are the most fortunate people in the world. We have the freedom to choose our path and to express it in any way. Consider your life and all the riches of freedom to speak, to travel, to learn, to love whomever you choose, to empower yourself and to work. I want to thank each of you for enriching my life. As the goddess embraces us with earths richness and the Christ blesses us with his gift of love, I wish each of you the wonder and love of the season. At this time in my life, I have reached a turning point. In Light Times has been my passion of love. It has enriched my life for 14 years and I have worked diligently, often with short supply of funds, to expand the light of consciousness through its pages. For the last three years, I have been struggling with diabetes. Each of you have honored me when due to illness, the paper has been late. Thank you for your understanding. Now this disease has taken a new turn and I am facing possible blindness unless I receive an operation. Unfortunately the cost is beyond my personal funds and so with pressure from my friends (and perhaps their wisdom) I have been encouraged to turn to you to ask for your help. The operation will cost a minimum of $10,000 and may run as high as $20,000. Should you feel inclined to help, my friends have set up a bank account specifically for this purpose. All details of the fund are listed below. I know that we each have responsibilities and some can help while others cannot. I thank you for your support in all its forms.
