CLEARING AND ENHANCING THE ENERGY IN YOUR HOME AND WORKSPACES

ALIVE

Everything is speaking to us daily. Everything carries memories and feelings. At times we may feel the need to rid our spaces of this excess energy that may not be supportive of where we are and where we want to go. In some cases we may not be aware of what went on before us, but we have a desire to start fresh and new.

CONNECTED

We are not separate from the world around us. We are all interconnected and in relationship to each other and all things. I believe that within each one of us there is a longing and a remembering of an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. A place of oneness and unity, beyond time and space.

CHANGING

The only constant in life is change. The seasons change. The cycle of life, birth and death. Time keeps moving and changing. Our spaces want to change. Look at your environment in regard to your life and see if there is something that needs changing. When you want to improve a situation, or bring something totally new into your life - clear out your space. Clear the old storage (closets, basement, garage, attic) and clutter. Recycle what you no longer need. Do a complete energetic space clearing. As you begin clearing away old stuff you will be amazed at how free and light you begin to feel inside yourself. Space clearing is an ancient art that has been used through out history and in every country and culture in the world. It is a method of moving stagnant energy, stuck energy in a home or business so that health improves, relationships flourish, and finances increase.

WHEN IS A SPACE CLEARING RECOMMENDED?

When moving into a new space, when leaving an old space, after a serious illness or death, after a major change such as divorce or breakup of a relationship, job loss, lawsuit, bankruptcy, your space feels too crowded, having difficulty selling a house, when you are at a crossroad in your life and wish to open new doors of opportunity, or when Feng Shui enhancements do not seem to be as effective. Space clearing can be customized for each individual by taking into consideration the situation, the space and any religious or spiritual beliefs. Space clearing can create a sacred space without being secular.

Space Clearing Ritual

There are many methods and tools that can be used for clearing a space. Choose the tools that feel right for you Sage/smudge stick, drums, rattles, musical instruments, essential oil sprays, burning incense, clapping, chanting, prayer or singing are just a few.

The following is a simple ritual for clearing your space.

1. Do a thorough housecleaning the day before. Clear out unwanted clutter.

2. On the day of your clearing be sure you are well rested. Avoid caffeine or any stimulants.

3. Create a quiet time when you will be undisturbed. Turn off the telephone, TV, music, etc.

4. Only have family members or those who live with you participating. It is important that the energy of those assisting be open and willing.

5. Use your own form of meditation or prayer to center yourself and connect to your Source asking for assistance with this space clearing.

6. Create an altar or center of focus. Example Drape your dining room table with a scarf or tablecloth. Add candles, figurines, nature items, natural incense, sage stick, essential oils, goblet of water and anything else that might help you create a sacred ceremony.

7. Each participant should drink a full glass of water.

8. Bring yourself to a quiet place, Light your candles, Burn your incense, Smudge with Sage, Anoint yourself with scented oils.

9. When you feel connected and ready, proceed and walk through your whole house starting at the front door, going clockwise. Use whatever tool you have decided on. Feel your space and whatever emotions surface. Be with them. Then let them go.

10. Create your own space clearing chant; use a known prayer or whatever feels right for you. Remember that your intention and clarity are your power. You can also use the following I ask that God assist in clearing this space of any negative or inappropriate energies, entities, emotions and memories that are stored in this space. I ask that this all be transmuted into love and light and sent off to the Universe.

Then I ask I ask that only love, joy, peace and harmony be allowed to enter these walls, I ask that only love, joy, peace and harmony be allowed to dwell within these walls, I ask that only love joy, peace and harmony be allowed to leave these walls. This home is filled with love, joy, peace and harmony.

11. After you feel your space has been cleared then have all members gather to create a house blessing. That is what you want this space to create for all of you.

12. End your ceremony with a prayer of thanks.

13. Be sure to drink lots of water and take a cleansing bath. You have just cleared an incredible amount of energy from your space and yourself.

14. Space clearings are incredibly powerful. I can guarantee that change will occur if you have seriously put your intention forward. We don’t always know what change is best for us but our Source does. Surrender the results and allow magic to enter. Know that whatever removes itself must go to make way for the new.
