When I was in my teens I remember seeing myself standing behind a podium speaking to a large group of people. My message at the time was that, "We can do this, we can make a difference in this world." I also informed them that we had to do away with the greed, the prejudices and judgments anchored so strongly within our consciousness. As I look back at that era, this same belief is very much alive within me. Let me ask you, what visions did you have when you were young and growing up? How did you see yourself? Were you that Super Hero that saved the day or the damsels in distress? Do you remember what it was like to be impassioned with your ideas — to be zealots for a cause? When was the last time you felt that fire within you? That place which brought purpose to your waking moments and excited you into action. More importantly, how close are you to fulfilling your quests of so long ago? In our own little corner of the world we have all the elements necessary to accomplish our desires; however, it is our belief which bring those ideas to fruition. It is our intensity for a goal that brings it into reality. It is our passion that is the driving force behind the dreams we envision. Our world will survive as long as humanity remains hopeful. As long as we remember our dreams — our visions and plans for a better today — life will support us as we take action. "Do not dream of tomorrow for tomorrow never comes. It is only today, this moment in time, that we have in which to make a difference." May we all rediscover our passion for life and may life inspire us to even greater heights of awakening consciousness. Take care.
