If these techniques aren’t working, here is a good rule of thumb to follow. If those inner promptings that urge us into action lasts more than a week, i.e., you find the same thoughts and feelings coming back over and over, then know this is your higher self looking for expression. Trust the information. Use it as a guide into action

As you go through your daily tasks, and you need a question answered ? ask your higher self. You will always receive an answer. It may be as simple as a song heard on the radio or a billboard as you travel upon your route. It could be a conversation overheard or a color or smell ? but you will get an answer. Our spirit self always provides information for our highest good, even if the tasks are hard. When we listen that inner voice will always lead us on the right path.

It cannot compel us to follow however because of free will. Bottom line, we can decide to follow spirit, or take a different path.

When you hear the prompting of spirit, life happens much smoother. Things that may have been a problem or issue, in the past, seem to be miraculously avoided and life is good. When you choose not to listen, it is as if you are taking your life into your own hands.

When you awaken to that small voice within, you are moving to your center and true path.

You can choose a life of good, filled with love, joy and abundance; or one of struggle and disappointments. Be willing to surrender to that inner voice and trust in the process that all is as it was meant to be. Turn over the "steering wheel of our life" to that higher source within you and by surrendering, you will see miraculous changes happening in your life.
