Getting Through Worry & Anxiety

Does worry & anxiety stop you from living
your intent? Like most of us, my self included, when concern turns to worry and
strategic thinking turns to compulsive thought patterns, then our brain has
taken over the mind. The brain is a physical organ that the mind uses to process
information. Somewhere the brain has taken over and we have stepped out of our
strength, and now the intent in which we want to lead our lives is lessened.
The first step in fixing worry & anxiety is
to actually own it, and identify the patterns. Do you ever have long discussions
and arguments with people who are not physically present? Do you ever go down
stairs for a drink of water and find yourself an hour later shopping in home
depot? Do you ever start out with a problem in your mind and the mind starts
cycling through all the possible solutions? And the solution to the problem isn’t
found? However, you keep thinking about the problem, and this is where it turns
into a self-destructive thinking process. These are all signs of good old
fashioned worry and anxiety.
Sometimes before we can fully let go, we need to
understand what we are getting from this behavior. Worrying lowers our vibration
and keeps us from growing, which sometimes we’re more comfortable in the lower
state because it’s familiar. Worrying also gives a false sense of control and
keeps us safe from having a more intimate relationship with self and others. Who
wants to be with someone that’s worrying? Lets take a definitive look at
worrying, "worrying is a mental obsessive behavior on an out come that isn’t
wanted." When we define worry under those parameters, it’s hard to
understand why we worry. Worrying simply doesn’t serve our highest good —
all it really does is keep us from our true selves, creating a false sense of
safety.
Here is a quick list that really does help keep
the worrying away.
DAILY MORNING MEDITATION AND PRAYER
ask and state
that divine guidance now comes into all your affairs.
Know, embrace, and trust your spiritual self
EXERCISE, DIET & BREATHING
Exercise such as
cardio, yoga, stretching power walking, swimming Diet, 6 small meals a day
avoiding refined sugars and caffeine, lots of water, a good multivitamin, 5HTTP
or St. Johnswort if needed. Breathing, oxygen reduces anxiety.
Know, embrace, and listen to your physical self
MAKE A LIST OF ALL YOUR PROBLEMS & LABEL THEM
CHALLENGES
And state the divine solution now comes into all my affairs for the
highest good of all concerned’.
Know and embrace all of your challenges
STOP THINKING AND START TRUSTING
your
knowingness, your intuitive self can guide you in right action to overcome all
your challenges, trust and believe in yourself.
Know and embrace your entire being with love
& acceptance
MAKE POSITIVE LIFE CHANGES
that you know you need
to make.
Know and embrace your new direction in life.
TAKE ONE STEP AT A TIME
and don’t worry about
the outcome.
Know and embrace that you are exactly where you
are meant to be.
If you notice on the above list, spiritual and
physical cares are listed first for a very good reason. When the spirit and body
are balanced the mind is much easier to balance.
Also it seems to be that in my life and the life’s
of others I have witnessed when we start listening to our spirits in meditation
and changing our lives accordingly, huge chunks of the stressors and anxiety
seem to fall away.
If you are having worries about people, places,
things, and past events that you have no control over, make that a short list of
challenges. If they can be cleared up with an action, such as an amends or
paying a debt, take the action. If it can’t be cleared up with an action of
good faith then burn the list and decree to the list, ‘you have no power over
me, be gone, I release you into divine love and light and I ask that the divine
solution now comes into this situation and it’s resolved easily and in peace
for the highest good!’ If you can’t fix it, God(dess) can, besides worrying
isn’t going to do anything productive so it’s much better to release it to a
power greater than yourself.
Someone once said that pain is inevitable
suffering is optional. The amount of suffering one experiences is in proportion
to the amount of willingness one has towards change, more willingness less
suffering. Sometimes the real problem isn’t the ‘problem’ it’s the
excessive worrying about the problem. That’s why I love this affirmative
statement, "I now call to myself the willingness and ability to let go of
worry. I now work in the solution of all my challenges."
If you’re experiencing excessive amounts of
worrying for long lengths of time, then you may want to try spiritual, psychic,
or traditional counseling, hypnosis, Reiki and or body work, also herbal
supplements, or 5HTTP. Ask your higher self to guide you to the right resources
and trust your knowingness!
