A Change Of Seasons
"Yes, come with me. We'll go back to the first event that lead to this shift." Michael swept his right arm into the air and the scenery changed to a tiny town in the dark of night. "I am sorry sir, we have no rooms in the inn but I can offer you our stable. I know it is not fitting for the birth of your child but I have nothing else I can offer you." "That is very kind of you. Please lead the way, my wife and I will follow," said the unfortunate man who pulled a donkey behind him laden with a very tired pregnant young woman. The Angel turned to Time Forgot, "This is the evening of the birth of Jesus." "So that is why the statues at the church in Changdun are focused on a baby!" "Yes," replied Michael. "The Change of Seasons Celebration has become Christmas. It is the time when people celebrate the birth of Jesus. From this meager stable came a being, whose teachings would change the consciousness of humans. Jesus taught people that they are children of God. He told them to love each other. He taught them that with faith, they could achieve anything, even unto eternal life." "But I still don't see how this teaching can protect them from war? That was my job you know."
"I think I understand then why my people are turning to Jesus. He was one of them and yet he showed them they have tremendous power that they can call upon to protect themselves. Is that correct?" asked Time Forgot. "Yes, I guess you could say that is the key to it all. Humans and angels are aligned. All humans are on the road to mastering their own divine power. They're learning to create and control their own universes. Eventually, each human will recognize his or her own divine nature. This is what the shift to the Christ consciousness is about. Are you content now with the Change of Seasons?" "Well, there is just one more question I have. What about the offerings? I didn't see any offerings for Jesus. Will this continue as it did for the thousands of years when I protected the people?" "Oh I didn't show you that part. Here!" exclaimed the angel as he turned to a scene back at the stable. Three men in turbans stood at the entrance to the little barn. Each bowed to the newborn child and offered a precious gift. These Arabian Sages explained their gifts as they presented them to the Christ child. "Gold," said the first one, "Is for the golden light of love that the child will pour upon the world." "Frankincense," said the second one "Is for the power he will impart to dispel evil and instill clarity of focus to all human life." "And Myrrh," said the third, "Is for the spiritual upliftment Jesus will give, that will release man's most insidious fear of death." "Incredible!" exclaimed Time Forgot to Michael the Archangel. "Jesus really did some incredible things but I didn't see any offerings at the church. Why is this?" "Time Forgot, Jesus did not want man to continue to make offerings to him. He wanted them to honor each other instead. That is why on Christmas day, people give gifts to everyone they love. This is their way of remembering Jesus." "I am very content with the shift now. Thank you Michael!" The Archangel bowed and then he disappeared. "Are you ready now, Time Forgot." Asked the Lord of Dragons. "Yes, my Lord. Now I can celebrate my Change of Seasons, while Changdun enjoys their shift to divine self-awareness." § Michele Avanti is a published certified astrologer and psychic.
