Greetings. Boy, are we ever on the fast track these days. Already the first quarter has passed, Easter is just around the corner and soon, after a short Spring season, we enter summer.

I do believe in the reality of that old saying, "time stands still for no one."

As we prepare for our days' journey what exactly is it that we map out within the 24 hours allotted to us? What do we fill our time slots with? How is our time management? Do we really plan our day or just go about on a spontaneous journey - doing whatever comes our way?

Are we flexible in our schedules enough to give variety to our lives? Of course the questions could go on and on; however, no time is left for the questions as I must get on with my day! (play on words).

At some point in time, being there is time, I know I must sit down and figure out the value of each minute I spend on my journey to see if I want to take another route. "Time is money" I believe is a two edge sword because we put value on careers or our jobs yet how many of us have put a value on those "little things" we do for ourselves that are not job related. And another point to ponder: what is the balance between the many tasks we perform and consider as valuable verses the frivolous acts of self-indulgence - in another words, do we value our time for making money far greater than our time spent with ourselves?

All I am asking here is that we all consider that the time away from a job or career is as important, if not more so, to our well-being. 

Knowing how much you are worth on the job is one thing; realizing how valuable you are in just "being" will be a major key to self-realization!

What are you worth? Are you willing to take the time and re-evaluate the cost of each moment you spend in a 24 hour day and discover where exactly you want to be?
