February, 2001 |
I am so excited about this
year and all the changes happening. Time is going supersonic and
keeping up can be exhaustive, and yet, on the other side of the coin
it can be exciting, and completely exhilarating. I find myself these days
running the course as fast as possible and although being on an
adrenaline high may not be the best option, it certainly does keep
life interesting and moving. I equate it with receiving a B-12 shot
and having a burst of energy and since we seem to be cyclic in nature,
I feel it best to move while I am motivated as I can become a wee bit
procrastinastic. (Of course you’ve probably read this before) And what about you? What
course are you running? Do you keep such a fast pace everything is a
blur or do you stop and smell the roses? It seems the majority of us
all have some task to get done before tomorrow and with justifiable
reasons. Yet, I remember when in Brazil how it took almost two weeks
to slow down to a different drummer…and I’m back to the normal
routines. However, one good thing is I have decided to make a
commitment to myself and therefore change my world, one tiny step at a
time. By doing so I become part of the solution rather than the
problem. Sound good? I hope so because you are all invited to join me
in honoring of the self. What does that look like? Only you know for
sure. The true measure of one’s life is not what others think,
it’s what you believe in and of yourself — the spirit of who you
are. Well, enough editorializing.
As I said earlier there are great changes coming. In Light Times is in
the process of expanding. There will be more pages, more distribution
points, new sections, i.e., “Health” and “Service”
Directories, more in-depth and cross section of articles, a “Talk
Forum” with thought provoking questions - see page 7, and an
expanded talk radio platform. Since I started In Light
Times twelve years ago I have been proud of this publication. I
believe, in my heart, it has made a difference in many lives and will
continue to do so. We change our lives when we realize our passion and
we change our world when we become that passion. Become passionate
about life and life will be the journey beyond imagination. And on a final note: I am
honored and thrilled to have joining the ILT family, Freddie Kelsey,
sales representative and the Marketing Firm, Gina, Martini-Jarrett. We
are soaring and invite you to soar with us. Have a wonderful love filled
February. Happy Valentine’s Day. Take care. |
