Happy Thanksgiving! 

There is so much to be thankful for — especially those times that challenged even the most sane of mind. Situations that bring us to the brink are some of the most powerful, profound life-changing events which brings us to new plateaus of understanding. It’s not always easy to go through life; however, the journey  is well worth the steps taken to achieve our life’s destination.

The other day a friend sent me a piece written by Mother Teresa called, “Do It Anyway” which I wish to share:

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway!

Do it anyway…what a statement. Dancing to your own drummer takes courage. Standing up in your truth, knowing who you are is a sign of a true spiritual warrior. Where are you and I?… exactly where we are meant to be! See the beauty, see the challenges, and embrace the light and shadow side of yourself. Be grateful and know you aren’t finished yet in the building of your soul, your world.

Well, enough editorializing, Michele, Chuck and I are off to Brazil for about 20 days to have fun and visit a man called “John of God.” John,  the “Miracle Man,”  is a healer of over 40 years with a clinic in Brazil. I believe another life-changing event is about to occur. Will share our experiences upon our return.

This was a fun month for putting the paper together. We are privileged to have the first announcement of a new white buffalo being born…what a trip!

I pray that Thanksgiving is a time of great celebration of family and friends, of Spirit and of you!
