The
New Energy of Truth & Integrity by
Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. Did
you ever see the Jim Carrey movie, “Liar, Liar”? In the movie, Jim
Carrey keeps getting into trouble because he tells the truth. In the new
energy that the year 2000 ushered in, many people are in similar
situations. They feel an inner pressure to speak truthfully, and the
consequences can sometimes be painful! This new energy is the harbinger of
the New Age of Truth and Integrity. Very soon, we will all be incapable of
lying to ourselves, or to anyone else. In the meantime, we are struggling
with the last vestiges of the old energy. In practical terms, this means
that we are having a difficult time burying our heads in the sand and
ignoring unhealthy situations in our lives. So, if your job, love life,
relationships, health, finances, spiritual life, or anything else is
out-of-balance, your inner self is demanding you to solve the situation.
In the past, we could rationalize, “Well, it’s okay,” but no more.
In the past, we could turn to addictivebehavior to smother the painful
feelings, but no more. The angels ask us to face our imbalances head-on
and take swift action to resolve them. This may mean seeing a financial,
marriage, health, career or spiritual counselor. Now is a very good time
to seek out expert assistance. Another means to resolving imbalances is to
use a journaling exercise given to us by the angelic realm: 1.
Create a personal space where you won’t be interrupted. Have a big pad
of paper and a free-flowing pen or pencil. You can also use a computer
word processor. 2.
Say a prayer, asking God, Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the angels to guide you. 3.
Write this question at the top of the page, directing the question to your
inner self: “How do I feel right now?” 4.
Write WHATEVER impressions come to you, even if you write, “Nothing.” 5.
Next, write the question to your inner self, “What changes would I like
to make in my life right now?” 6.
Write whatever enters your mind, feelings, heart, or body. Please don’t
edit, censor, judge, or question what you think and write. 7.
Next, write a question, directed to God and your guardian angels: “What
guidance would you give me, to resolve my situations?” 8.
Write whatever you hear, think, feel, or see. Don’t worry whether this
is your “imagination,” or your angels. Keep going. Write more
questions and answers. Out of this material, you WILL receive at least one
concrete, practical piece of guidance that will help you face and resolve
any imbalances in your life. Most likely, you will receive more than one
suggestion. You will know if it’s true Divine guidance if it: rings
true; feels natural and makes sense to you; it is loving; and it makes you
feel safe and warm. If the guidance feels false, unnatural, or
frightening, just cross it out, and ignore it. Ask your angels to give you
additional guidance that will help inspire and uplift you. Remember, your
angels love you unconditionally. 9.
Follow-through on the suggestions given to you by your angels. This is
important. Heaven helps us by giving us guidance, and giving us the
support necessary to fulfill that guidance. The
angels say to you, “Always remember that we hover very near to you at
this time. We are in unison with your heartbeat, your breath, your inner
visions. We are one with you, in truth, and we play an essential part in
your growth and understanding. Please invite us to participate in your
life. We are your angels, and we love you into eternity.” A
Personal Message: “Your
happiness contributes to the happiness level of the entire world. Your
smiles and joyous behaviors are contagious to everyone who sees, hears, or
thinks about you. Thank you for your gift of happiness!” Love
and Angel Blessings, Doreen |
