Reiki Healing Hands Of Light by Robin Lynne Healing with ones hands is an art, or possibly a science, that finds documented testimonials of "miracles" predating Christianity by nearly a millennium. Universal Life-Force Energy fueled by the power of White Light is what energy workers believe cures the sick, changes negative to positive, regenerates tissue, and accelerates the bodys own natural healing process. The hands-on healer is trained to utilize this energy, without claims, without ego, to facilitate themselves and others in returning to a state of balance and health. Reiki (pronounced ray-kee), is an ancient form of natural, holistic healing which was used in Tibet and the far East of 6,000 years ago. Eastern religions considered it a sacred healing art and guarded against misuse by keeping the teachings and symbols secret. Only the "selected ones" were taught and few written records were made. Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian educator, rediscovered the technique encrypted among Sanskrit records in the late 1800s. Since then, people all over the world have been taught to receive Universal Energy through their crown chakras (top of the head) and pass it through their bodies and out their hands into anothers body via the hands-on technique of Reiki. The Usui system of Reiki is one of the most simple and natural healing systems known today. Reiki energy vibrates to the violet ray, the highest in our seven-band color spectrum, which is often referred to as the "love vibration." Those receiving Reiki, therefore, experience a sense of well-being, peacefulness, relaxation and love. Reiki is beneficial to all life forms people, animals, plants, food, water and inanimate objects. Its effects have even been reported to influence past and future events. Usually administered as a one-hour full-body (clothed) hands-on treatment, Reiki reaches all levels of existence mental, physical, emotional and spiritual and heals on a cellular level, clearing any residual negative energies left in the body after arguments, accidents or other traumas. Reiki works in harmony with all medical practices, procedures and medications as well as all other alternative healing methods. It is not a religion, nor does it conflict with religious beliefs. The faith of the recipient of Reiki is inconsequential to the outcome. There are three levels of training in the Usui system which utilizes a combination of discussion, light meditation, Reiki attunements and hands-on practice. Anyone can be taught to practice Reiki. It is not complicated and requires no great mystical ability or preparation, only a willingness to allow the flow of Universal Energy. Once attuned, the first degree student is able to focus and direct his energy for the rest of his/her life. First degree training reawakens the students awareness of his/her natural channel for energy flow and instructs the student in the hands-on method for healing. It is usually completed in one or two sessions and incorporates three or four attunements. Second degree training, usually completed in two sessions, intensifies the flow and instructs students in a distant healing technique. Since three or four additional attunements are administered, second degree training is recommended 21-30 days following first degree training. Third degree/Master training deepens the connection and instructs the student in methods of training practitioners and performing attunements. Because several more attunements are administered, Master training is also recommended 21 to 30 days following second degree training. Prices for training vary widely across the country, some along the East Coast as high as $10,000 per class; however, classes can commonly be found in the price range of $75 to $200 for each degree of training. Reiki is a safe and wonderful method in the assisting of the healing process. ¤ To learn more about Reiki call Reiki Master Robin Lynne at 702-220-6442 |
