 From The Publisher...Michelene K. Bell It's the Sunday before I go to press and as usual I am writing this at the last moment. I think I must enjoy the drama or adrenaline rush of waiting until the eleventh hour to complete the issue… but complete the issue I do and then it's on to the next month. It's a continuous cycle, one that varies little from year to year. And yet, as In Light Time begins its eleventh year, there has been a shift. I can't quite explain it except that I know in my heart and soul that it is time for major change and key transformation. What that looks like is not fully developed; however, I know that as I persevere on this journey, that my destination will be achieved. Is this about the year 2,000? Maybe, but I think not. It is more the realization that we each live in our own individualized world. Our perception of that world is the reality, however illusory it may be, that we create. Now the New Millennium, on a planetary scale, is perhaps one of the greatest opportunities in history for humankind to evolve into a higher consciousness. And, on a universal scale, it is just another day in the mind of God. Now don't get me wrong. I'm excited about participating in the "year 2,000." It is like Spring… a new beginning, electrifying, the turning of a page in history and I look forward to the celebration. And I believe it is also important to remember that the New Millennium will be as great or as disastrous as our inner belief systems, individually and collectively, is projected into the world. Fear and faith are both in the mix. Do we fear and worry about "what may happen" or "know" that all is in the Divine Plan of Spirit? All around us there are opportunities to make choices and although we are individual in those decisions we are also in the sea of the collective consciousness of humanity.
