| Can you believe it? September is
already here, and within a few short months we will be saying farewell to 1998 and
welcoming in 1999. Of course, as we draw closer to the year 2000, imaginations will soar with "what if" scenarios. Already the air is electrified with the possibilities of the Y2K phenomenon, and I am sure there will be other events that capture our attention as well. How does one handle all those "scenarios" without falling into panic or fear? Its not easy; however, I believe that this is an era where we have a true opportunity to experience the depth of our faith whatever we believe or know it to be. With todays technology there have been great strides in improving humanitys existence, and that same technology can also be the undermining of civilization as we know it. I believe the key phrase here is, "as we know it." This is a time of change, and our world is indeed going through an evolutionary process just as it has since the beginning of time. How we view these changes will also dictate how we create our world. Remember, how we respond, whether from trust and faith or panic and fear, will affect the outcome. Do I believe the world is coming to an end? No, it is only emerging from the cocoon of the Piscean Age into the light of the Aquarian Age. It is the simple cycle within the framework of the Universe and its Creator. Do I believe the world, "as we know it," is coming to an end? Yes, most definitely. I firmly believe there is a bright future ahead, and within each step in the "now" of today, the prospect of survival is not in question. Look how far we have come from our ancestors beliefs i.e. "if man were meant to fly, God would have given him wings." Well, God did give him wings and within the recesses of the mind those wings have taken flight. So, in closing, I can only share with you my view of this world and I know that, as we continue to open to the unlimited possibilities of the Divine Plan, we will catapult ourselves, society and our home world into new and exciting adventures. Trust and faith panic and fear opposite poles, different results where, my friends, do you engage your thoughts? May peace and tranquility, trust and faith be the core of your created universe. |
